Second Session

The weather was grim – so my hopes weren’t too high for many people turning up. (Or maybe I’d scared them off in my first session).

To my surprise, it was another fantastic turn out.

Breakdown of session:

– warm up jog

– sprint drills

– circuits including running at 70%, plank, high knees, mountain climbing, burpees, press ups, lunges. (45 seconds each x2. 1 minute recovery. 20 seconds maximum effort each x2)

– Run at 70% for 45 seconds, jog back for 15 seconds, sprint back in 30 seconds x5

-cool down jog

-cool down stretches

I’m thoroughly enjoying taking these sessions and meeting the students who all seem very enthusiastic. Quite a few at the end of the session were interested in signing up for the London College League Cross Country – watch this space!
